To address our client’s business challenges and opportunities, ICARE can supply any qualitative or quantitative tool to help at every stage. Methodologies vary according to requests, but the following are the most frequently used:

QUALITATIVE (FACE TO FACE, TELEPHONE OR ONLINE)

One-on-one interviewsThis methodology involves interviewing respondents in person at home, at work or in a central location.
The interview consists of an informal discussion in which respondents are able to express themselves freely.
They are ideal for testing materials and documents and obtaining respondent's feelings and impressions.
These interviews can be organized in a central location and viewed live by clients.

Duos, triosSame informal discussion as in one-on-one interviews but with two or three respondents discussing together with the moderator

Focus groups and mini groupsInformal discussion as in one-on-one interviews gathering a group of respondents discussing together with the moderator

Conference researchTake advantage of conferences or colloquiums where your core target group congregates and collect participants' opinions at times when they are available. In this context, several methodologies can be used: focus groups, pairs, groups of 3 or in-depth interviews.

Desk researchAs a complete study in itself or as a preliminary phase to identify which elements should be incorporated into a study,
desk research makes use of various available resources including: statistical data, professional organizations, chambers of commerce, the Internet and specialized trade journals.

Opinion Leaders researchQualitative interviews conducted face-to-face or by telephone with key opinion leaders in the selected area

Web-assisted telephone interviewsThis allows to show stimuli to respondents during qualitative telephone interviews. Thanks to an Internet connection, respondents can read a profile or view a stimuli hosted on ICARE website. As no printing is allowed, this enables to to keep the confidentiality of the study materials.
